Israel Defence Forces releases exclusive footage from October 7 attack

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) released unseen footage that shows its soldiers in action during the Hamas attacks on October 7 ahead of the first anniversary of the war.
Hamas attacked southern Israel on October 7 in 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking about 250 as hostages, following which the Gaza war began. Over 42,000 Palestinians have died due to Israeli strikes so far, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
The video showed Israeli soldiers and border police forces, operating in Re’im, near which 364 people were killed at the Nova Music Festival in Kibbutz Re’im.

In the city of Sderot, Israeli forces, including reservists from the 188th Brigade and officers from the 401st Brigade, led by Colonel Benny Aharon, engaged in fierce combat at the Sderot Police Station against terrorists who had fortified themselves inside.

On the same day, Hamas fired thousands of rockets into Israel before its militants breached the Gaza border by air, sea, and land, launching one of the deadliest and largest-scale attacks on Israel. During the onslaught, Hamas terrorists attacked neighbourhoods and went on a rampage at a music festival, killing some 1,200 people, injuring hundreds of others and taking over 250 hostages.
